Recrystallization Behavior of IF Steel at the Interface of Aluminum Junction

Two cold-rolled IF steel sheets sandwiching an aluminum sheet were heat-treated at 650°C, and the recrystallization behavior in interfacial region between pure was observed analyzed. The tongue-like structure of η-Fe2Al5 phase appeared reaction zone recrystallized characterized by equiaxed including subgrains surrounded η phase. In contrast, a bcc-ferrite elongated with pancake shape mainly other regions. grew preferentially along c-axis, growing caused distortion surrounding iron due to difference molar volume. This suggests that compressive strain is generated both a-axis b-axis, tensile c-axis growth obviously changed steel. development γ-fiber crystalline texture (<111>/ND), typical steel, not local misorientation vicinity two-phase interface could explain change. It suggested constraint affected nucleation ferrite.
